Role Description The Mechanical Site Engineer will oversee daily mechanical works on construction and industrial project sites different located sites across Egypt, ensuring that fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities meet technical specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising on-site mechanical operations, coordinating with structural and civil engineering teams, monitoring progress against project plans, and resolving technical issues in the field. The role involves implementing quality control procedures, inspecting materials and workmanship, documenting site activities, and preparing regular technical and progress reports. The Mechanical Site Engineer will liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders, support adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement of site processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based on site. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong on-site engineering skills, including experience supervising mechanical works and coordinating field activities. Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and project stakeholders. Candidates should possess quality control skills, including inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering collaboration skills to align mechanical works with overall project design and integrity. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Experience in steel fabrication, industrial projects, or construction environments is highly beneficial. Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, safety regulations, and site management practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings, use engineering software tools, and prepare clear technical reports. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work in fast-paced site conditions. Professional certifications or membership in engineering bodies are considered an advantage.
