Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Hebrew Transcriber at Datovia Play House. The Hebrew Transcriber will listen to audio and video content in Hebrew and accurately convert spoken language into written text following established guidelines and formatting standards. Daily tasks include segmenting and labeling audio, correcting automated transcriptions, verifying spelling and grammar, and ensuring that cultural nuances and context are correctly captured. The role also involves performing quality checks, meeting project deadlines, collaborating with project coordinators, and following confidentiality and data security requirements. Depending on project needs, the Hebrew Transcriber may support related tasks such as annotation, time-stamping, or metadata tagging to improve AI language models. Qualifications Strong Hebrew language proficiency, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with the ability to understand different accents and dialects. High level of listening accuracy and attention to detail for transcription, including careful review of automated outputs and manual corrections. Comfort with technology and online tools, including transcription platforms, audio/video playback software, and basic productivity applications. Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Good written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew; English proficiency is beneficial for instructions and collaboration. Familiarity with transcription standards, style guides, or linguistic annotation is an advantage. Prior experience in transcription, localization, or AI data services is preferred but not mandatory. Stable internet connection, access to a computer with quality audio output, and a quiet workspace suitable for focused listening.
