Role Description The Data Entry Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves accurately entering and updating shipment and customs data into internal systems and databases, verifying documentation, and maintaining records in line with company standards. The Data Entry Assistant supports daily administrative tasks, including filing, data verification, and basic report generation to ensure smooth customs clearance workflows. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and responding to routine client or partner inquiries related to shipment information and documentation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance skills, including organizing documents, managing records, and supporting office workflows. Candidates should possess solid Computer Literacy skills for working with data entry software, spreadsheets, and email applications. Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact with colleagues and respond to basic client or partner inquiries. Candidates should possess accurate Typing skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet data entry volume and time requirements. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide courteous, professional support in a fast-paced logistics environment. Additional beneficial qualifications include strong attention to detail, basic knowledge of shipping or customs processes, the ability to work under time constraints, and proficiency in English and Arabic. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
