Key Responsibilities:-Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.-Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.-Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.-Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial transactions.-Monitor cash flow, expenses, receivables, and payables.-Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.-Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and relevant governmental authorities.-Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.-Develop and maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies.-Analyze financial results and provide management with reports and insights to support business decisions.-Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team.-Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.-Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with solid supervisory or managerial exposure.-Strong knowledge of financial accounting, GL, AP, AR, taxation, and financial reporting.-Strong understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards and applicable tax regulations.-Previous experience managing month-end and year-end closing.-Strong experience dealing with external auditors and tax inspections.-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
