Job Details

We are looking for an Accounting Manager with a global perspective in our Cairo office.
Responsibilities Oversee the company's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate and lead external and internal audits, acting as the main point of contact for auditors. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and corporate tax obligations, including CIT, VAT, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, and other applicable fiscal requirements. Review and supervise tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors when required. Monitor changes in accounting and tax legislation and assess their impact on the business Develop and maintain effective internal controls and Group´s accounting policies. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis activities. Manage and mentor the accounting team, promoting professional development and high-performance standards. Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and ensure financial compliance.
Requirements:
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Mandatory experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles. Previous experience in external or internal audit is required. Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS preferred). Solid understanding of corporate taxation, indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and tax compliance requirements. Experience dealing with tax authorities and external auditors.
Preferred Experience: Experience in multinational companies. Exposure to international tax matters and cross-border transactions. Experience managing accounting teams and leading finance transformation or process improvement initiatives.
Technical skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics.)
Languages: Minimum English level B2, fluent written and spoken.
