Project Manager – Industrial / Tire Manufacturing Plant

Job Summary
Plstone International is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the completion and startup of our tire manufacturing plant in Ismailia.
The Project Manager will act as the central coordination point between company management, contractors, engineering consultants, machinery suppliers, technical consultants, and internal departments to ensure the project progresses according to schedule, budget, and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain the overall Factory Master Project Schedule.* Coordinate multiple project workstreams running simultaneously, including: * Civil and construction works * MEP and utilities * Fire Fighting systems * Electrical systems * Mechanical systems * Machinery procurement and delivery * Machinery installation * Testing and commissioning * Production preparation* Follow up daily with contractors and engineering consultants.* Coordinate with machinery suppliers regarding technical specifications, layouts, foundations, and utility requirements.* Ensure machinery requirements are properly integrated into MEP and factory infrastructure designs.* Monitor project progress against planned milestones and immediately identify delays or critical issues.* Manage the project’s Critical Path and dependencies between construction, utilities, machinery, and commissioning.* Review project schedules, technical submissions, drawings, and progress reports.* Coordinate procurement schedules and machinery delivery timelines.* Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings.* Maintain an updated Action & Decision Tracker.* Escalate decisions requiring management approval with clear recommendations and alternatives.* Coordinate with HR and technical teams regarding recruitment and manpower readiness for factory startup.* Coordinate factory readiness for machinery installation and commissioning.* Prepare a concise weekly progress report for management covering progress, delays, upcoming milestones, required decisions, and risks.* Drive the project through Trial Production and Commercial Production.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Engineering.* Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably including industrial or manufacturing projects.* Previous experience in factory construction, expansion, or factory startup projects is strongly preferred.* Strong understanding of MEP, industrial utilities, machinery installation, and commissioning.* Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.* Strong project planning and scheduling skills.* Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.* Strong knowledge of project budgeting, procurement, contracts, and progress monitoring.* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.* Good command of English.* Ability to work regularly from the Ismailia project site.
