Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a mix of onsite work at Depot Egypt Logistics Park. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue from importers, exporters, freight forwarders, industrial clients, and other logistics stakeholders. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and managing the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing. The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure service quality, accurate pricing, and smooth onboarding of new clients. The role also involves market analysis, monitoring competitor activity, maintaining CRM records, and preparing regular sales forecasts and performance reports for management.
Qualifications Proven experience in sales or business development within logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, or related industries. Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals, with the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships. Ability to develop sales strategies, conduct market research, and analyze data to identify opportunities and improve performance. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic proficiency is highly beneficial. Familiarity with bonded logistics, 3PL, customs processes, and regional trade dynamics is a strong advantage. Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), and basic sales reporting and forecasting. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Results-oriented mindset, high level of integrity, and willingness to travel between Cairo, Ain Sokhna, and client sites as needed.
