Role Description The Senior ELV Engineer and Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of extra-low voltage (ELV) systems for diverse projects. This position oversees project engineering activities, prepares technical designs and shop drawings, and ensures compliance with client requirements, standards, and regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors, managing project timelines and quality, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. The Senior ELV Engineer and Team Leader conducts site surveys, supervises installation and commissioning, troubleshoots complex technical issues, and prepares documentation and reports. This role also contributes to continuous improvement of ELV solutions, supports presales and technical proposals when needed, and helps maintain strong client relationships. Qualifications Strong ELV engineering expertise, including design, integration, and implementation of systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, and building management systems. Proficiency in project coordination and leadership, including team supervision, workload planning, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. Competence in technical documentation and design tools, such as Auto CAD or similar drafting software, MS Office, and preparation of drawings, BOQs, and technical reports. Solid understanding of networking, IP-based systems, and relevant standards, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize ELV and related infrastructure. Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and project teams. Proven experience in a senior ELV engineering role, preferably within a systems integrator or similar environment, including on-site project execution. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage
