General Manager of a hen cell farm is the leader responsible for planning and supervising production, administrative, and veterinary operations for the layer hens sector (egg production of fertilized eggs or chicks) to ensure the highest efficiency and strict adherence to biosecurity standards and protection of the main flock. Main duties and responsibilities Operational planning: establish periodic plans for receiving flocks, feeding programs, monitoring weights and uniformity according to the breed catalog Biosecurity: enforce and apply the strictest biosecurity measures in the farm area to prevent entry of any diseases or epidemics Veterinary care: supervise the implementation of vaccination programs, medications, and health care in coordination with the veterinary team Resource management: monitor feed, fuel, and water reserves, supervise labor and daily task distribution Reports and budgets: review daily and weekly production, mortality, feed conversion reports and submit to senior management Requirements and qualifications Educational qualification: Bachelor in Agricultural Sciences (Animal Production or Poultry Division). Work experience: at least 7 to 15 years in managing layer farms. Skills: team leadership, proficient in computer use and Excel production reports, ability to work under pressure.
