Role Description The English Second Language Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. The instructor will design and deliver engaging ESL lessons, using varied teaching methods to support learners with different proficiency levels and learning styles. Daily responsibilities include planning and updating lesson materials, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum improvements, participating in training initiatives, and contributing to a positive, supportive learning environment. The instructor will also help align language programs with Guide Academy’s broader skills development and professional growth objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Candidates should possess solid Teaching experience and Curriculum Development capabilities. Candidates should possess a sound understanding of Linguistics to support effective language instruction. Candidates should possess excellent communication, classroom management, and learner engagement skills. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field; TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is an advantage. Candidates should possess the ability to work with learners from diverse backgrounds and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
