Ensure product conformity across the production line by conducting systematic quality inspections, identifying defects at source, and verifying adherence to VitrA's internal quality standards (KGT-21) and applicable international standards (EN 997, EN 33), in support of ongoing scrap and rework reduction.

Key responsibilities

The role has two core responsibilities: pre-shipment quality control of finished products, and process auditing at the supplier in response to customer complaints. In detail:

• Conduct quality control inspections of shipment-ready (finished) products prior to dispatch, ensuring that only conforming goods are released for shipment.
• Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspection at the casting, drying, glazing and post-firing stages.
• Verify conformity to applicable international standards (EN 997, EN 33) and VitrA s internal quality standards (KGT-21) for sanitaryware.
• Detect and classify defects (cracks, pinholes, glaze defects, warpage, dimensional deviation).
• In the event of customer complaints, observe and audit the relevant production processes at the supplier to determine root causes and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
• Record inspection data, flag non-conformities, and support root-cause analysis with the quality team in T rkiye.

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical or Engineering bachelor degree.

Solid product knowledge of sanitaryware and ceramic is essential.

Hands-on quality control experience in sanitaryware manufacturing (preferred over tile).

Strong knowledge of common sanitaryware defects and familiarity with applicable international quality standards (EN 997, EN 33) is expected.

Good command of English is required and essential, as this role reports to the Quality Control Manager based in T rkiye.
