Role Description The Senior Software Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi, responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of complex software and IoT projects. This role oversees project planning, scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements. The Senior Software Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, manages stakeholders, and monitors progress, risks, and budgets to deliver projects on time and within scope. Day-to-day tasks include facilitating requirements workshops, translating business needs into actionable technical plans, tracking milestones, and implementing best practices in project governance and reporting. The role also involves mentoring project teams, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and operations to support Amjaad Technology’s smart metering and smart city solutions.
Qualifications

Strong Software Project Management and Project Management skills to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Proficiency in Requirements Analysis and Analytical Skills to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and data-driven decisions. Solid understanding of Software Development processes and lifecycle to effectively coordinate with engineering teams. Experience managing technology or IoT projects, preferably in utilities, smart metering, or smart city solutions. Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies using modern project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or hybrid approaches). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present to senior leadership. Proven leadership experience in guiding project teams, mentoring team members, and fostering collaboration and accountability. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) are an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Qesm El Maadi and collaborate closely with local and regional teams.
