We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on enterprise systems and Microsoft-based environments. The role is primarily responsible for managing and optimizing servers, storage, virtualization, and core infrastructure services.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in on-premise and hybrid Microsoft ecosystems, with working knowledge of networking and security components to support cross-functional operations when required

1. Infrastructure & Virtualization (Primary Focus)

• Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments using VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).

• Manage server infrastructure (physical and virtual), including capacity planning and performance tuning.

• Administer enterprise storage systems and backup solutions.

• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies.

2. Microsoft Systems Administration (Core Responsibility)

• Manage and support:

  • Windows Server environments

  • Active Directory & Group Policy

  • Microsoft Exchange (on-prem / hybrid)

  • Microsoft SCCM / Endpoint Management

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Office 365, Teams, Exchange Online).

• Support hybrid integration between on-premise infrastructure and cloud services (Azure AD, synchronization, identity management).

3. Cloud & Modern Workplace

• Support and manage Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online).

• Assist in Azure-based workloads and hybrid infrastructure setups.

• Participate in cloud migration and optimization initiatives.

4. Networking & Security (Supporting Role – Not Primary)

• Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting for:

  • Firewalls

  • Switches

  • Wireless controllers

• Understand and support:

  • VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP

• Coordinate with security/network teams on:

  • Patch management

  • Endpoint protection

  • Basic security hardening

5. Monitoring, Automation & Operations

• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.

• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell (preferred).

• Ensure systems availability, reliability, and performance.

6.Support & Documentation

• Provide Level 2/3 support for infrastructure-related issues.

• Maintain clear documentation:

  • System configurations

  • Architecture diagrams

  • Operational procedures

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in:

  • VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)

  • Windows Server & Active Directory

  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams)

  • SCCM / Endpoint Management

• Good working knowledge of:

  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)

  • Basic firewall and switching operations

• Exposure to:

  • Microsoft Azure (preferred)

  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Scripting experience:

  • PowerShell is highly preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
