Discover the role as the Director of Sponsorships and Partnerships
You will take full accountability for the strategic leadership and financial performance of the commercial function. You will own the commercial architecture including pricing frameworks and rights structures while personally driving high level negotiations with international brands. This senior leadership position focuses on strategy and governance to ensure all commercial activity is scalable and financially disciplined. You will lead an international sales team and act as the primary commercial authority for the organisation during major events and executive meetings.

Lead hands on international sponsorship sales including direct outreach and closing strategic deals Define sponsorship packages and pricing models while managing the international sales team Oversee the development of commercial pricing frameworks and revenue models to meet financial targets Act as the final decision maker on commercial terms and the appointment of external sales agencies Provide strategic oversight to Local Organising Committees and international community members to align commercial objectives Manage the end to end delivery of sponsor rights and act as an escalation point for performance risks Deliver regular commercial reporting and pipeline forecasts to the executive management team
Discover the requirements
7+ years of experience in sponsorship or commercial sales within sports or entertainment A proven personal track record of closing major international sponsorship deals Strong sales background with a focus on Europe and MENA or Central Asian markets Ability to operate simultaneously as a senior deal closer and a strategic team leader Fluency in English is required while Russian is considered an advantage Experience in ancillary revenue streams like licensing and hospitality is a plus Strong discipline in CRM management and structured financial reporting
