Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Giza for a Planning Engineer. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as developing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with various departments to ensure project timelines are met, analyzing project data, and creating reports. The individual will also be responsible for production planning, project control, and effective communication within the project team.
Prepare realistic project schedule using appropriate too such as Primavera Calculate Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement for each stage of the project Coordinate with the project manager and different departments to ensure good execution of the plan Plan for the budget required for the project and monitor expenses as the project is executed Create cash flow forecasts for each project Coordinate with the client to ensure efficient execution for the project Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates of the project Create variance reports (Schedule Variance and Cost Variance - usually Earned Value Method (EMV) is used for this) at various stages of the project to analyse deviations Create Project Closing Reports with continuous improvement
Qualifications Strong Planning and Production Planning skills Excellent Analytical Skills for project data analysis Proficiency in Project Control to monitor and manage project schedules Effective Communication skills to coordinate with various departments and stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Good knowledge of Primavera
