About the Company: Legacy, a Hassan Allam Holding company, is responsible for operating the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
About the Role The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Marketing Communications Strategy for the Grand Egyptian Museum. The role translates the museum’s marketing strategy, institutional priorities, and approved programs into integrated, impactful ATL and BTL communication campaigns aligned with the GEM brand. The position also supports institutional initiatives, programs, events, and the execution of communication deliverables related to approved sponsorship agreements.
Key Responsibilities:Marketing Communications Strategy Develop and manage the Marketing Communications Strategy in alignment with GEM’s overall marketing and institutional objectives. Translate strategic priorities into clear messaging frameworks, campaign narratives, and communication plans. Contribute to the overall marketing strategy in collaboration with marketing leadership. Campaign Planning & Execution Plan and execute integrated ATL and BTL campaigns from briefing to rollout and evaluation. Develop campaign concepts, messaging, creative direction, and communication plans for exhibitions, initiatives, and public programs. Ensure timely, on-budget delivery in line with approved objectives. Coordinate with creative, media, production, and activation agencies. Programs, Events & Activations Support approved programs, activations, and events through structured communication planning and materials. Translate programming calendars into communication plans and promotional assets. Ensure effective visibility and positioning of initiatives. Sponsorship Communications Execute communication deliverables for approved sponsorship agreements in coordination with the sponsorship team. Ensure contractual compliance, accuracy, timeliness, and brand alignment. Act as the main marketing communications point of contact for sponsorship-related assets. Internal Collaboration Align campaign messaging with digital content in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager. Support PR with messaging frameworks, press materials, and campaign assets. Ensure consistent messaging across all communication touchpoints. Brand Governance & Quality Apply and uphold brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity. Ensure all outputs meet approved quality and brand standards. Support periodic brand reviews. Performance Tracking Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, effectiveness, and reach. Identify optimization and continuous improvement opportunities.
Required Skills & Capabilities:Strong understanding of marketing communications strategy and integrated campaigns. Ability to translate objectives into clear messaging and execution plans. Strong analytical, storytelling, and creative judgment skills. Proven project management and multi-campaign execution experience. Experience managing agencies and vendors. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience & Qualifications:6–9 years of experience in marketing communications, brand, or integrated marketing roles. Proven experience executing ATL and BTL campaigns. Experience working with creative, media, and production agencies. Experience in cultural institutions, tourism, entertainment, or large public-facing brands is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA/Marketing/Communications) is a plus.
