Role Overview Responsible for procurement of packaging materials for personal care products, ensuring timely supply, cost efficiency, and strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities Source and purchase of packaging materials like bottles, caps, tubes, labels, cartons. Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers; maintain vendor database. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings. Coordinate with QA/QC for material approvals and quality compliance. Create purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and manage documentation in ERP. Support production, R&D, and NPD teams for material sourcing and planning. Track inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Qualifications Graduate in Supply Chain, Commerce, Chemistry, or related field.4–8 years of procurement experience in packaging/personal care/cosmetics or FMCG only. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.
