Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Al Jizah, Egypt, for a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation services. Daily tasks will include monitoring transportation routes, communicating with drivers and customers, addressing any issues that arise during trips, and optimizing schedules to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the Dispatcher will maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other transportation management tools Familiarity with local routes and geographical areas Attention to detail in documenting schedules, logs, and reports Ability to work under pressure and solve unexpected issues Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are considered a plus Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required
