- Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality standards in alignment with Daniela Hotels’ values.
- Oversee daily operations, including room inspections, inventory management, and scheduling of staff shifts.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and manage the department’s budget, including procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations throughout the property.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold quality assurance and address areas for improvement.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping services, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Prepare and present reports on department performance, occupancy, and resource utilization to senior management.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry.Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse housekeeping team.Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost control.In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures, health, and safety standards.Ability to work onsite and adapt to a dynamic, guest-focused environment.Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
