- Oversee the receipt of agricultural crops from suppliers and ensure compliance with technical specifications and export quality standards.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of crops (e.g. oranges, grapes, pomegranates, mangoes, strawberries, potatoes) to assess size, color, ripeness, and absence of defects or contamination.
- Supervise sorting and packing operations inside the packhouse, ensuring adherence to the quality and packaging standards required for different export markets (Europe, Gulf region, Asia, etc.).
- Implement and monitor quality control and food safety programs in line with systems such as Global GAP, BRC, and HACCP.
- Prepare daily inspection and quality reports, documenting findings and following up on corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate with relevant departments such as production, cooling, and logistics to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure product integrity.
- Monitor storage and cold chain conditions during temporary holding and before shipment to maintain optimal product quality.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of operational procedures, identifying critical control points and minimizing waste.
- Support in the training of workers and technicians on quality and food safety standards according to internal QA protocols.
- Report regularly to the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager and provide recommendations in case of non-conformities.
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from an accredited university.2 to 4 years of experience in quality control of export-oriented agricultural crops.Good knowledge of quality systems and export standards.Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
