- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Increase production, assets’ capacity, and flexibility, while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards
- Responsible for production output, product quality and planning
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and effectively communicate the rational to subordinates.
- Monitor tissue paper production and converting operations and trigger corrective actions.
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
- Analyze production process to minimize down-times and rejects, while optimize use of production personnel.
- Enhance plant safety procedures and secure certifications relating to the manufacturing process.
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
- Address employees’ issues and administer collective agreements.
- Train, develop and monitor the performance of subordinates.
- Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and techniques.
- Any other tasks that are related to the main job responsibilities & maybe required by the direct manager.
BSC in Mechanical Production Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience, 5 in a similar position, previous tissue paper is a must.Postgraduate qualifications are considered a plus (MBA, MSc)Chemical Engineering knowledge is a plus.Familiarity with industry standard production equipmentKnowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processesStrong leadership skills.
