RESPONSIBILITIES
• Draft legal-related documents (i.e., legal notices, power of attorney, legal opinions, cease and desist letters, notice of termination of contracts, memorandums, etc).
• Amend and review legal contracts.
• Knowledge of Egypt Laws and litigation matters is A MUST.
• Liaise with international clients in a professional and efficient manner.
• Maintain a filing system for all legal-related documents.
• Attend to legal administrative duties of the unit.
• Provide accurate and timely advice/opinion on a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, banking law, corporate finance, restructuring, etc.)
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
• Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
QualificationsMinimum 7 – 10 years’ experience in litigation matters.LLB in Law from an Egyptian University.Admitted to the Court of Appeal.Conduct legal research and analysis to build a strong case foundation.Experience in litigation matters including but not limited to civil, commercial criminal and labor disputes, in addition to enforcement of judgments, drafting motions, pleadings memorandums and appeals and ability to deal with court proceedings.Provide legal advice to clients, explaining, complex legal concepts in a clear and accessible manner.Stay updated on changes in legislation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Master’s Degree is a plus.Membership of the Egyptian Bar Association.Strong research and writing skills.Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach to work, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
