2- Ensure compliance with storage, safety, and legislative requirements, including fire safety measures and proper ventilation.
3- Implement FIFO and other inventory management techniques for efficient space utilization and minimize damage.
4- Develop templates, maintain databases, and generate daily reports for inventory, production, and costs.
5- Train and manage warehouse staff, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with various departments.
6- Supervise cost control, ensuring all costs comply with company policies, and recommend cost-reduction strategies.
7- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and reporting on profitability.
8- Lead the cost control team, implement internal controls, and ensure accuracy in cost accounting and billing.
9- Collaborate across departments to ensure effective communication and seamless integration in the document cycle.
10- Analyze financial data, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
11- Develop and maintain cost models for products, monitor actual costs vs. estimates, and assist in pricing policy adjustments.
12- Participate in budgeting, financial reporting, and continuous improvement of cost management processes.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost control or pricing roles, with experience in the logistics or transportation industry being essential.Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and SAP is essential.Strong understanding of financial principles and cost control methodologies.Experience in analyzing market trends and cost data is an added advantage.Knowledge of billing procedures and best practices is preferred.Ability to use warehouse management software and databases.Strong staff management and leadership skills.Ability to make decisions and provide appropriate solutions to various problems.Strong knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs).Keen observation skills and proficiency in space allocation.Ability to communicate effectively with department staff and other departments.Practical experience in warehouse management and best storage practices.Ability to plan various storage procedures.
