Médecins Sans Frontièrès (MSF – Doctors without Borders) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. Main Purpose:

Main task is supervising the daily logistics activities to ensure safe and effective running of the project.  To provide maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission

Accountabilities:

• Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of      equipment according to MSF standards
• Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of logistics stock, and equipment according to MSF standards
• Through daily visits to the facilities check and follow up anomalies or discontinuations. Evaluation of the rehabilitation and preventive maintenance needs in cooperation with the medical and logistical teams. Planning and informing of activities essential.
• Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities based on systematized follow up lists answering to MSF standards
• Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility, including daily supervision and monitoring the quality of work, including creating common understanding of each person's task. Hereunder compose objectives and evaluate the effort based on job description and objectives. Drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities through reporting tools defined by the logistic department.
• Ensure safe, correct and effective running of the project vehicle fleet. Follow preventive and curative maintenance in collaboration with project drivers and facilitate the vehicle movements according to the project needs.
• Initiate and continue partnership with external actors, follow up and catalogue external contractors, daily workers and other external agents, including quality control of the mentioned partners. 
• Ensuring secure and correct ICT setup and running in all departments of the project. 

Ensuring the continuous security of the clinic and annex by the use of watchmen. In collaboration with the team and the Head of watchmen provide time schedule and support the team when incidents occur and secure follow up and improvements. Ensure that all team members are familiar and follow good practice and protocol.
