The Company seeks a highly motivated, experienced Drilling Safety Officer/Supervisor to join our team. The position will safeguard personnel, equipment, and the environment during drilling operations. Role responsibilities will include: Ensuring all operations on the Lift Barge are carried out safely. Implementing and enforcing company safety policies and procedures at drilling sites. Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Developing and delivering safety training programs for barge crews, drilling crews, client personnel and visitors to the offshore site. Investigating safety incidents and near misses and implementing corrective actions. Maintaining accurate safety documentation and reports. Collaborating with drilling supervisors and crews to ensure safe work practices are followed. Staying current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements for drilling safety. Mandatory Qualifications Minimum five years of experience in drilling operations offshore or a related field. Proven experience in implementing and enforcing safety programs. Excellent knowledge of Offshore Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and standards for drilling operations. Strong understanding of drilling equipment and procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Preferred Qualifications Certificate in Health and Safety Management. (Minimum NEBOSH)Experience with conducting safety audits and inspections. Experience developing and delivering safety training programs. (Train the Trainer)Knowledge of specific drilling rigs and equipment (e.g., mud logging, blowout preventers). Prior experience in a supervisory role.
