JOB PURPOSE


The Sales Specialist is crucial to the Commercial section, focusing on enhancing sales operations and market development through data management. This role involves deep involvement in the CRM, particularly in the accurate insertion and analysis of data, and providing insights to drive business growth and sales efficiency.


 


CRM Data Management and Analysis



  • Insert and validate all data within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyse this data to gather insights into sales performance and customer engagement.


 


Sales Operations Analytics



  • Support the analysis of sales activities by identifying trends and areas for improvement.


 


Sales Excellence Contributions



  • Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of sales strategies, performance metrics, and document management processes.


 


Market Development Support



  • Assist in market analysis and research to identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic market development initiatives.


 


Reporting and Communication



  • Prepare regular reports on CRM data, sales trends, and market analysis, communicating findings to the Business Analytics Manager and other stakeholders.


 


Respect Health & Safety, Environmental policies



  • Understand, implement, and follow all the commercial and social responsibility polices and ensure the interests of the company are always maintained.


 


SPAN OF Communication



  • Internal: Collaborate with the Business Analytics Manager, Sales, Marketing, and CRM teams, providing essential data insights and CRM support.

  • External: Occasionally engage with external data providers for comprehensive data gathering and validating.


 


Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY)



  • Boundaries: Works under the guidance of the Business Analytics Manager, focusing on CRM data and analytics within the sales and market development framework.

  • Decision-Making Authority: Authorized to make decisions regarding CRM data entry and analysis methodologies, while strategic and higher-level decisions are made in consultation with the Business Analytics Manager.

Skills

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's in business Analytics, Economics, or related field.


Preferred Experience:



  • 3+ years in a data analytics or CRM management role, preferably in a sales or commercial setting.


Job-Specific Skills:



  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis tools, and proficiency in data visualization software.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.


 


Core Competencies:



  • CRM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CRM systems and data handling, especially related to RFQs.

  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse complex data sets and provide actionable business insights.

  • Effective Communication: Skilled in presenting complex data in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for identifying challenges in sales operations and proposing data-driven solutions.
