Assistant Maintenance Manager - choueifat area

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance activities within the bakery, confectionery, and potato chips manufacturing facilities.
2. Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective repair and servicing of production machinery and equipment.
3. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure the reliability of production lines.
4. Assist in developing maintenance schedules and plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
5. Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
6. Maintain inventory levels of spare parts and consumables to support maintenance activities and minimize production disruptions.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance operations.
8. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to address maintenance-related issues and support production goals.
9. Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
10. Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Previous experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in bakery, confectionery, or snack production.
3. Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, including bakery ovens, mixers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
4. Proven leadership abilities and experience in supervising maintenance teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
6. Familiarity with preventive maintenance strategies and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
7. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as required to support production operations
