Use a prepared script to influence customers in purchasing product
Document transactions in forms and record logs
Maintain database through entering and verifying data
Follow manufacturer’s instructions to keep equipment operational
Follow organizational standards to maintain quality service
Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing publications and attending educational workshops

Skills

Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
Track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in English
Ability to conduct sales and marketing calls, with knowledge of sales techniques
Relaxed, confident telephone manner
Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
