Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse Operator reports to the Warehouse Team Leader and the purpose of this position is to timely and accurately execute the movement and storage of goods and materials in the receiving/shipping area and the warehouse, in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Manages and is responsible for the correct allocation of raw materials and finished products in the warehouse

Loads and unloads trucks, checking the integrity and relevant documentation (orders, delivery notes, etc.) for incoming and outgoing goods

Collects and identifies general waste

Keeps warehouses and forklift traffic routes clear and safe

Unloads and moves equipment and tools inside and outside the factory as requested, using manual and/or electric pallet jacks

Supports packaging operators in supplying and collecting materials from/to production lines

Works in accordance with correct hygiene and safety practices in the workplace

Compliance with quality instructions and work toward achieving quality goals

Maintaining product quality according to the required specifications.

Technical Skills:

Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts

Basic applied knowledge of WCM standards

Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules and practices

Education and Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience working in a warehouse or production area in a manufacturing company
