Role Description The General Accountant ERP role at TakeLook App is a full-time, on-site position based in Egypt. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities within the company’s ERP system, including recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The General Accountant ERP will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with budgeting and cost control, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The role also involves maintaining compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, generating financial reports for management, and collaborating with other departments to ensure data integrity and efficient financial workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial statements, and local tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and financial modules.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations, manage accounts payable/receivable, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Prior experience in a tech or startup environment, and familiarity with process improvement and automation, is advantageous.
