Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant with strong functional expertise in financial management and ERP transformation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business and finance requirements into effective Dynamics 365 Finance solutions, leading functional design and configuration activities, and supporting implementation, optimization, testing, training, and go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional implementation and optimization of Dynamics 365 Finance solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional D365 Finance solutions.
• Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with finance teams and key stakeholders.
• Configure and support core D365 Finance modules, including:

General Ledger

Accounts Payable

Accounts Receivable

Fixed Assets

Cash & Bank Management

Budgeting

Financial Dimensions

Financial Reporting

• Design and document end-to-end finance processes and workflows.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and functional specifications.
• Identify gaps between standard D365 functionality and business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with technical consultants and developers on customizations, integrations, reports, and extensions.
• Lead and support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and user acceptance activities.
• Prepare training materials and deliver training to end users and key business users.
• Support data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Analyze system issues and provide functional solutions and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization.
• Ensure finance processes comply with internal controls and business requirements.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders and management.
  

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management processes.
• Strong experience with D365 Finance configuration and implementation.
• Experience with full-cycle ERP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working with technical development teams.
• Experience with UAT, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical ERP solutions.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
• CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience working in multi-company or multi-entity ERP environments.
• Experience with D365 Finance integrations and reporting solutions.
