Job Details

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Education Program Delivery Plan, implement, and supervise the project's education activities, including catch-up, remedial, and blended learning pathways. Develop and adapt session plans, learning materials, and learning kits appropriate to learners' age and level. Oversee the operation of the digital learning hub and ensure learners are supported to use digital platforms effectively. Ensure learning timetables, groupings, and class sizes support quality delivery and safe participation.

B. Learner Assessment and Placement Lead learner screening, diagnostic assessment, and placement into the appropriate learning pathway using agreed tools. Analyse assessment results to identify learning gaps and inform remedial planning and curriculum adjustment. Track learner progress through pre- and post-assessment and recommend adjustments where learners are not progressing.

C. Teacher and Facilitator Support Support the identification, recruitment, and induction of teachers, facilitators, and volunteers. Deliver and coordinate training on child-centred pedagogy, gender-responsive and culture-sensitive teaching, positive discipline, and inclusive education. Provide ongoing coaching, classroom observation, and feedback to strengthen teaching quality.

D. Quality, Monitoring and Reporting Monitor the quality of education delivery against agreed standards and document findings and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate learner records, attendance, and assessment data. Contribute education inputs to periodic project reports and lessons-learned documentation.

E. Safeguarding and Inclusion Comply with LMF's Child Safeguarding, PSEA, and Code of Conduct requirements at all times, and complete all mandatory safeguarding training. Report any safeguarding concern immediately through the designated reporting channels. Apply the do-no-harm principle, confidentiality, and informed consent in all contact with children and caregivers. Support functioning feedback and complaints mechanisms and ensure beneficiaries know how to use them. Ensure learning spaces and materials are accessible and inclusive for children with disabilities and for girls.

Qualifications and Requirements Experience : Experience delivering or supervising catch-up, remedial, or accelerated learning programmes for out-of-school children. Experience in learner assessment, placement, and progress tracking. Experience training, coaching, and supervising teachers, facilitators, or volunteers. Experience with blended or digital learning approaches is an advantage. Skills : Strong technical knowledge of child-centred, gender-responsive, and inclusive pedagogy. Ability to design and adapt learning materials and session plans. Good coordination, coaching, and feedback skills. Understanding of safeguarding, PSEA, and trauma-sensitive teaching approaches. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and digital learning platforms. Language proficiency: Arabic: Native. English: Good (written and spoken). Desired Candidate Profile

Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Education, Arabic or English language, Science, Psychology, or a related field. A teaching qualification is an asset.
