Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bartender role based in Giza at Hyatt Regency Cairo West. The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Daily responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking orders, providing recommendations, and delivering attentive bar service while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The role involves handling cash and payment transactions accurately, following responsible alcohol service guidelines, and complying with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The Bartender will collaborate closely with the food and beverage team to support smooth operations, assist with stock control, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere in the hotel’s dining and lounge spaces.
Qualifications
Demonstrated bartending skills, including mixing, garnishing, and serving a variety of beverages. Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse guests and team members. Solid food and beverage knowledge, including menu understanding and basic pairing recommendations. Accurate cash handling skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Previous experience in a hotel, bar, or restaurant environment is preferred. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and local regulations is an advantage. Professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
