A reputable engineering design firm is looking for an experienced HVAC Draftsman to join our professional design team in Sheraton, Cairo.

Position: HVAC Draftsman

Minimum Experience: 7 Years in HVAC Drafting

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed HVAC design drawings using Auto CAD and/or Revit in accordance with project requirements and design intent. Develop and update HVAC layouts, including ductwork, chilled water/refrigerant piping, HVAC equipment, diffusers, grilles, and related systems. Coordinate HVAC drawings with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines. Review drawings thoroughly to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Deliver drawings within the required project schedules and deadlines, while maintaining a high standard of drafting quality and accuracy. Incorporate design revisions and coordination comments efficiently and accurately. Prepare detailed sections, typical details, schedules, and other HVAC documentation as required. Maintain proper drawing standards, layering, annotation, and documentation throughout the project. Work closely with HVAC engineers and the wider multidisciplinary design team to ensure efficient and coordinated project delivery.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in HVAC drafting. Strong proficiency in Auto CAD – Mandatory. Good understanding of HVAC drafting practices and engineering design drawings. Ability to read and understand HVAC layouts, schematics, and engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings within tight deadlines. Good coordination and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering design team. Revit MEP experience is an advantage. Knowledge of duct sizing and chilled water/refrigerant pipe sizing is an advantage. Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects is preferred. Experience in preparing HVAC shop drawings is an advantage.
