Department: Integration Factory, Digital & Technology Platform Services. Location: Cairo, Egypt.
We are hiring a Senior Integration Engineer who is a strong hands-on builder and a technical multiplier: you will deliver complex integrations, lead or heavily contribute to solution design, raise engineering quality through reviews and mentoring, and ensure integrations are reliable and supportable in production. This is a senior engineering role with real ownership. You are expected to turn design intent into working, stable integrations, proactively reduce operational risk, and help the team improve how we build and run integrations.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Design and implement complex integrations across middleware and event-driven platforms• Own end-to-end implementation quality: integration patterns, mappings, error handling, retries, security and auth, scalability, and operability readiness• Perform high-signal design and code/config reviews to ensure maintainability, performance, and consistency with standards• Mentor other engineers through practical guidance: pairing, design walkthroughs, review feedback, and troubleshooting patterns• Support production troubleshooting and escalations; prioritize root-cause fixes over workarounds• Collaborate with Architects and Product to clarify requirements, resolve constraints, and shape implementable solutions
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.• 5+ years in integration engineering or software engineering with strong integration exposure• Hands-on experience with APIs (REST/SOAP/OData) and messaging/event-driven integration concepts• Experience with an integration platform such as SAP CPI or equivalent (Mule Soft, Azure Integration Services, etc.)• Scripting for integrations — Groovy, Java Script, or similar• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to communicate clearly across engineering, product, and operations• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.• Excellent spoken and written English• Communication, organizational and analytical skills Nice to Have:• Experience with API gateways, event streaming (Kafka / Event Mesh), and observability practices (monitoring, logging, alerting)• Strong CI/CD discipline, automated quality gates, and release readiness practices• Experience with delivery tooling (Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Service Now) and agile delivery frameworks• Experience mentoring or formally leading junior or mid-level engineers
