Role Description The Architectural BIM / Design Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. The role involves developing architectural concepts and translating them into detailed BIM models and construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and coordination with engineering disciplines. Daily tasks include preparing design documentation, updating models based on design revisions, and supporting design management activities throughout the project lifecycle. The architect will participate in design reviews, communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and help maintain compliance with local codes and project standards. The role also includes contributing to design presentations, optimizing workflows within BIM platforms, and supporting the implementation of best practices in architectural design and documentation. Qualifications Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in Architectural Design and BIM, preferably within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
Key Requirements:
- Strong architectural design skills with a proven ability to develop creative, functional, and technically feasible design solutions.- Proven experience in taking projects from Concept Design through Design Development and Construction Documentation.- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Architecture and BIM project delivery.- Strong understanding of architectural principles, space planning, building functionality, and design development.- Excellent knowledge of architectural construction, materials, façade systems, and technical detailing.- Strong BIM coordination experience with Structural, MEP, Civil, and other disciplines.- Advanced proficiency in Navisworks Manage for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, ISO 19650, BEP, and CDE workflows.- Experience in BIM QA/QC, model auditing, and maintaining project BIM standards.- Ability to translate design intent into a coordinated and technically accurate BIM model.- Ability to review, develop, and improve architectural designs while maintaining design quality and project requirements.- Experience in leading BIM deliverables and coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.- Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, and design coordination skills.- Experience with large-scale residential, hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, or high-rise projects is preferred.
