Job description

Responsible for installing new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs.
Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance.
Replace and transplant trees, flowers, and shrubs. Maintain trees and shrubs by trimming and pruning. Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance. Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems. Remove and bag trash from all exterior trash cans. Operate dump trucks, tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies, materials, and debris. Wash, clean, and refuel all equipment after use.
Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
Report work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager or supervisor.
Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
Report defective equipment to manager or supervisor.
Perform pre-operation equipment safety checks when using any mower or other equipment.
Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance functions as needed.
Install new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs.
Replace and transplant trees, flowers, and shrubs.
Predict that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment; join all activities organized to protect biological diversity and share the responsibilities. Share individual responsibilities in order to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary trainings.
Provide minimum consumption of currently used items and equipment (paper, printed materials, etc.).
Implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energy inside the facility.
Carry on implementing decisions taken for saving energy.
Predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.
Implement responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment, and lead staff.
Provide safe handling, carrying, storing, and using of chemicals in accordance with laws, controlling and reducing chemical pollution.
Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and environment management systems implemented at the facilities.
Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

• Education: at least a technical high school.
• Experience: at least 1 year of related work experience.
• Foreign language: not required.
• Courses and training: not required.
• Computer literacy: not required.
• Skills: plans and designs land areas.
