Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biomedical Equipment Specialist located in Cairo. The Biomedical Equipment Specialist will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance and repair of medical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and the safety of medical devices. The role includes promptly troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing inspections, testing equipment for accuracy, and keeping detailed service records. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with medical staff to ensure equipment supports optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance, Equipment Repair, and troubleshooting techniques for various biomedical devices. Knowledge of Medical Equipment and its functionalities, including the usage of diagnostic tools. Experience in Field Service, including the ability to perform on-site equipment evaluations and repairs. Background in Military Training or a similar technical, hands-on discipline is advantageous. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical certification in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for collaborative settings with healthcare professionals. Ability to stay up-to-date with biomedical advancements and technologies.
