Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a mix of on-site client visits, office work, and some work-from-home flexibility. The Technical Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, present technical solutions, and support existing customers in selecting appropriate chemical systems for their applications. Daily activities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical proposals and quotations, and following up on leads to meet sales targets. The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, troubleshooting application issues, and coordinating with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery. The Technical Sales Engineer will maintain accurate records in CRM tools, stay current with industry standards and product developments, and represent the company at meetings, trainings, and industry events. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, manage pipelines, and close opportunities. Candidates should possess Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand product specifications, interpret drawings, and guide customers in applying solutions correctly. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication, presentation capabilities, and active listening. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Civil, Materials, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline is preferred. Experience in construction chemicals, industrial coatings, waterproofing, or similar technical products is beneficial. Strong problem-solving abilities, customer-focused mindset, and comfort working in a field-oriented, hybrid environment. Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within Egypt as needed.
