Garden Fruit is looking for an experienced Logistics & Import/Export Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end import and export operations.- Handle customs clearance, port operations, and container handling efficiently.- Coordinate the logistics of agricultural crops, ensuring compliance with quality, storage, and reefer container standards.- Communicate and negotiate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and agents to secure optimal rates and operational efficiency.- Prepare and review all required shipping and export/import documentation, including: - Commercial Invoices - Certificates of Origin - Phytosanitary Certificates - Bills of Lading - And other relevant shipping documents
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in logistics, import, and export operations.- Proven experience handling agricultural commodities/crops.- Strong knowledge of port clearance procedures and container management, including both standard and reefer containers.- Strong communication and negotiation skills with shipping lines and customs brokers.
