VOB Specialist – Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized VOB Specialist to join our healthcare team. The VOB Specialist will be responsible for verifying patients’ insurance eligibility and benefits and ensuring accurate coverage information is available before appointments. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits. Review deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, visit limits, and coverage details. Contact insurance companies when additional verification is required. Accurately document insurance information in the appropriate systems. Communicate benefit information with the billing and administrative teams. Identify discrepancies or missing information and follow up promptly. Complete verification tasks accurately and within required deadlines. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable privacy requirements. Support the team with additional insurance-related administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in VOB, insurance verification, medical billing, or healthcare administration preferred. Knowledge of U. S. health insurance terminology and benefit structures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
