Role Description The Video Editor role at ZORO MISR is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Maadi. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including assembling raw footage, editing sequences, applying color grading, and incorporating motion graphics and visual elements to create compelling content. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with marketing and content teams to understand project objectives, adapting footage for different platforms, maintaining brand consistency, and meeting deadlines for various campaigns and promotional materials. The role also involves organizing media assets, optimizing videos for online use, and continually enhancing visual storytelling to highlight ZORO MISR’s travel experiences and services. Qualifications Strong skills in video production and video editing, with experience managing projects from concept to final export. Proficiency in video color grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel. Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to support storytelling and brand identity. Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Good understanding of social media and digital platforms, including aspect ratios, durations, and best practices for online video. Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Relevant education or training in film, media, visual arts, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio demonstrating previous video work is required.
