Role Description The Bar Team member are responsible for delivering professional, welcoming, and efficient bar service in all hotel bar outlets, including the atrium bar and poolside bar. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking guest orders, recommending drinks, and ensuring accurate billing and cash handling. The role involves maintaining bar cleanliness and hygiene, restocking supplies, setting up and closing the bar, and complying with all food safety and responsible service of alcohol standards. Bar Team members work closely with colleagues in Food & Beverage to support smooth operations, assist with small events or promotions, and ensure guests receive consistently high-quality service. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Heliopolis in Cairo, Egypt, and may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Qualifications

Experience in bar or restaurant service, including taking orders, serving beverages, and handling cash or POS systems. Knowledge of basic mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation, with attention to quality and consistency. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and confidently with diverse guests. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, support colleagues during busy periods, and follow supervisor instructions. Awareness of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards, and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Flexibility to work variable shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays) and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Basic numeracy and attention to detail for handling payments, recording orders, and monitoring inventory.
