Fiber optic works, including installation, termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting. Installation and maintenance of network cables and organized cables. Cabling, numbering, tracking, testing, and troubleshooting of cables. Use of specialized testing devices, including FloK devices and optical fiber testers. Installation, extension, organization, and management of cables inside data centers, server rooms, offices, and university laboratories and facilities. Installation, disassembly, transportation, reinstallation, and preparation of light current equipment and systems. Participation in preventive and corrective maintenance. Conducting technical inspections and assisting in installation and expansion works. Coordination with IT, network, security, maintenance teams and contractors when needed. Documentation of cables, equipment, and infrastructure. Readiness for field work in various university buildings and facilities. Qualifications and experience required: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the field of light current. Strong experience in surveillance cameras, access control systems, fiber optics, and organized cables. Good knowledge of wiring, testing, tracing, and troubleshooting cables. Experience using FloK devices is an added advantage. Good knowledge of organization and management of cables and infrastructure inside data centers. Ability to handle, move, install, equip, and re-distribute technical equipment. Good fault-finding skills and teamwork. Possessing specialized technical courses or certificates is an added advantage.
