Dependencies: Head of Purchasing The overall objective of the role: to secure all company needs of materials, services, and equipment with the highest quality and best price and on time, while managing and documenting contracts and agreements to ensure the company's legal and financial rights and meet its strategic objectives. Main tasks and responsibilities: Managing the procurement process: receiving purchase requests, reviewing them, and ensuring budget availability and approval. Sourcing new suppliers and periodically evaluating current suppliers. Preparing and sending Requests for Quotations (RFQ) and tenders (RFP). Analyzing submitted offers (technical and financial) and preparing approved price comparisons. Drafting and managing contracts: preparing and drafting commercial contracts and terms and conditions in cooperation with Legal Affairs. Negotiating financial and penalty terms, delivery lead times, and maintenance guarantees. Monitoring contract validity and renewal or termination, and documenting all amendments or addenda. Ensuring suppliers comply with all contract terms and conditions. Follow-up and operations: issuing purchase orders (POs) and monitoring their execution until delivery of materials or provision of services. Coordinating with the Warehouse and Inspection departments to receive goods and verify compliance with specifications. Matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents and forwarding them to the Finance Department for payment. Resolving problems and errors arising from procurement (such as delays, damage, or non-conformance). Required qualifications and experience: Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent. Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing and contract management. Technical skills: Mastery of contract drafting and legal and commercial interpretation. Proficiency in ERP systems. Soft skills: High negotiation skills and ability to resolve disputes. Analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
