Plumbing & Firefighting BIM Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Plumbing & Firefighting BIM Engineer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in plumbing and firefighting design and BIM, with experience in consultancy firms preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to develop their technical and BIM expertise while working on challenging projects across the Gulf and MENA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Plumbing and Firefighting BIM models in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.

• Prepare and review engineering designs, layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.

• Work on a variety of building projects, including different building types and applications across the Gulf and MENA region.

• Coordinate MEP systems with other disciplines and resolve design and coordination issues.

• Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection processes.

• Ensure designs and models comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, BIM specialists, and other project stakeholders.

• Support the preparation of design deliverables throughout different project stages.

• Continuously develop technical knowledge, BIM capabilities, and understanding of international design practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Plumbing and Firefighting design and/or BIM.

• Previous experience in engineering consultancy firms is preferred.

• Good knowledge of plumbing and firefighting systems and their design principles.

• Experience with Revit MEP and BIM workflows.

• Good understanding of relevant international codes and standards.

• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and develop.
