We Are Looking For An experienced accounts receivable professional with 7–10 years of experience. You're skilled at client coordination, collections follow-up, and resolving billing disputes. You work fluently in ERP systems and Excel, and you balance strong negotiation skills with clear communication. Location Head Office, Cairo
Key Responsibilities • Prepare and issue client invoices based on project progress, BOQs, and approved certificates. • Track and follow up on client payments, ensuring timely collection and minimizing overdue balances. • Reconcile client accounts and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with project teams. • Monitor project-level revenue recognition and align with progress billing schedules. • Prepare AR aging reports and cash collection forecasts. • Record and reconcile incoming payments (bank transfers, cheques, cash) against customer accounts. • Coordinate with project managers and technical office on variation orders, claims, and additional works billing. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records and statements. • Review customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits in line with company policy. • Assist in month-end and year-end closing through accruals and reconciliations. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables. • Liaise with clients and consultants on payment terms, disputes, and documentation requirements. • Ensure proper filing and archiving of AR records for audit purposes. • Support internal/external audit requests related to AR.
Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. • 7-10 years of accounting experience, with strong focus on accounts receivable, preferably within construction, contracting, or fit-out companies. • Strong understanding of progress billing, payment certificates, and construction contract terms. • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel. • Strong negotiation and follow-up skills for collections. • Good communication skills for client-facing coordination.
