We are seeking an experienced QS / Estimation Engineer to join a back-office engineering team in Cairo, supporting construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to identify project requirements. Prepare cost estimates, pricing, and tender submissions for construction projects. Develop and maintain complete tendering files, including commercial and technical documentation. Prepare material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost breakdowns. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare comparative statements. Review BOQs and identify discrepancies, missing items, scope gaps, and potential commercial risks. Support value engineering and cost optimization during the tendering stage. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate and complete tender submissions. Maintain estimation databases, historical cost data, and tender records.
