Arab Otsuka Nutraceuticals Co., S.A.E. (AON) is a Japanese multinational company and an affiliate of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., specializing in innovative nutraceutical and health products, including ORONAMIN C. AON operates the Otsuka Robeki Factory in 10th of Ramadan City, serving the Egyptian market with plans for regional expansion.

We are looking for an experienced GL Supervisor to oversee General Ledger activities within our manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate accounting, timely month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Experience in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute General Ledger activities and ensure accurate and complete accounting records.

• Lead monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, amortization, and closing adjustments.

• Ensure accurate posting and allocation of transactions to the appropriate GL accounts and cost centers.

• Prepare and review account reconciliations and analyses, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing and operational expenses and ensure proper accounting treatment.

• Prepare and review monthly financial and management reports.

• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions, advances, and other balance sheet accounts.

• Ensure all expenses and invoices are properly recognized and recorded within the required deadlines and in line with approved SOPs.

• Follow up on intercompany transactions and reconciliations where applicable.

• Support the Finance Manager / Financial Controller during internal and external audits and provide required documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.

• Analyze financial data and operational costs to support cost control and business decision-making.

• Support manufacturing and supply chain teams with financial analysis and performance indicators.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancement within accounting operations.

• Lead, coach, and develop GL team members to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 4–7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in GL/Senior Accounting/Supervisory roles.

• Strong experience in GL, month-end closing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cost accounting.

• Manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Nutraceutical industries.

• Good knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and audit principles.

• Proficiency in SAP and Advanced Excel.

• Very good English with strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
