MEP Site & Technical Office Engineer – Fit-Out Projects
ArtWave Engineering** is urgently hiring an experienced MEP Site & Technical Office Engineer to join our team and take ownership of MEP activities across the full project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
Handle the complete MEP technical cycle from Concept & Design through Final Handover.
Prepare and review Shop Drawings, Composite Drawings, BOQs, Material Submittals, and Technical Documents.
Coordinate MEP works with Architectural, Structural, and Site teams.
Support pricing, quantity take-off, procurement, and cost control activities.
Follow up on site execution and ensure works are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
Prepare and review as-built drawings and support project handover.
Ensure proper coordination between different MEP disciplines and architectural requirements.
Manage assigned technical and site activities independently while meeting project deadlines.
Contribute to BIM coordination and clash detection throughout the project lifecycle.
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in Fit-Out, Commercial, Office, Retail, Hospitality, Hotel, or Clinic projects.
Technical Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
4–6 years of relevant experience in MEP / Fit-Out projects.
Strong experience in Office, Commercial/Retail, Hospitality, Hotel, or Clinic projects.
Strong Electrical Engineering background with solid knowledge of:
HVAC
Fire Fighting
Plumbing
Strong knowledge of Light Current systems, including:
CCTV
Access Control
Fire Alarm
Data / Structured Cabling
Public Address (PA)
IPTV
Revit is REQUIRED.
Practical knowledge of BIM coordination and MEP modeling.
Experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, pricing, and cost control.
Good understanding of MEP materials, specifications, procurement, and site execution.
Strong ability to read and coordinate MEP and architectural drawings.
Good knowledge of technical office procedures and site coordination.
Candidate Profile
Hands-on engineer who can work across both Technical Office and Site activities.
Able to take ownership of projects and follow tasks from design to execution and handover.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience working for MEP, Fit-Out, Contracting, or Engineering companies is highly preferred.
Candidates residing in Giza or Sheikh Zayed are preferred.
Graduates of government universities are preferred.
